Peter Witkowski is a grace inspired speaker, counselor, and writer seeking to facilitate gospel change. He serves as the senior Pastor of Amissville Baptist Church (ABC) located in Amissville, Virginia. Before arriving at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains, Peter worked as an intern at the Bible Church of Little Rock, ministered as a hospital Chaplain at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, and served as the Associate Pastor of Preschool and Children’s Pastor at First Baptist Church Eastman.
Peter earned his Master of Divinity Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2012. Seeking to put his theology into action, he became a certified member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) in 2016. In his free time, he works on PhD. in Church History at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Before turning to theology, he received Bachelor of Art Degrees in History and French from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. While at Southern Seminary, he encountered something far greater than the glories of Reformation which have shaped his understanding of theology. He met and married the one and only April Witkowski. They have three wonderful children.
In addition to preaching, counseling and celebrating all things Chicago, Peter loves to write about theology. His articles have been featured on the Family Research Council website and at HistoricalTheology.org.
